Meet Judith Akatugba

Judith Akatugba

Is the CEO of June6 Media, a creative media and marketing conglomerate based in Lagos, Nigeria. She has almost two decades of management professional work experience in the media industry. Before joining June6 Media, she was the general manager of Lasgidi FM.

In 2020, Judith was appointed the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Digital of Nigeria’s oldest newspaper, The Daily Times, and Daily Times Digital, where she formulated growth strategies across all portfolios and successfully managed the digital transformation of the newspaper.

Other reputable brands she has worked with include The Guardian Newspaper and Digitals where she was the Commercial Director who led her team to boost revenue generation and the company’s liquidity; Red Media Group as the Group Senior Manager; Consolidated Media Associates as the Group Sales and Marketing Manager of Soundcity TV, Soundcity City radio, Spice, and ONTV; TVC Communications as the Business Development Manager for TVC Entertainment, TVC News and Max FM; Sportsbrand LTD which she co-founded; and Point Blank Media Concepts, where she began her media career in sales, marketing, content distribution and TV production.

Judith is passionate about knowledge and self-development, a trait that is evident throughout her academic history. She holds two master’s degrees – in public administration from the University of Birmingham (in-view) and in Media and Communications from the prestigious Pan-Atlantic University. She is also a skilled political campaign manager trained at the Centre for International Advanced Studies (CIAPS), a graduate of the Daystar Leadership Academy, and a trained broadcaster from the National Broadcast Academy of Nigeria.

Judith is a member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria. (ARCON).
